Byron's most southern beach, tucked away off the highway Belongil offers clothing optional/nudist beach, dog walking area, cafes with the advantage of being a world away while being only a 10 minute walk from Byron's Main Beach.

The Wreck

Located just on the left of the Main Beach carpark, The Wreck is so called due to the shipwreck of the SS Wollongbar located at the spot. The wreck creates a surf break making it a popular surfing spot. This area of beach of also a Dog Friendly area but is not patrolled by the lifesaving service.

Main Beach

The most popular beach in Byron with locals and holiday makers alike. Popular for its close location to town and perfect view out over Jullian Rocks diving site, this is the only beach in the Byron area with a Lifesaving service daily.
